What online resources do you have?

Our website is a good resource for information about our practice, management of common pediatric ailments as well as educational quick links. We offer online scheduling for routine visits only. We have a Facebook page that allows us to share important information regarding issues that affect our patients.

How are referrals handled?

If you are in need of specialty care, our office will recommend a specialty group or doctor for you to see. We will facilitate the appointment if needed and get authorization as required by your insurance. If you have arranged the appointment, please give our office 48-72 hours to get an authorization from your insurance.

What are the regular office hours?
Mon – Fri 08:00 – 05:00
Sat – Sun Closed
How are telephone calls handled?

In order to minimize holding times on the phone, please call between 8:00 and 10:00 am if you need a sick visit for that day. Our call back time is within 45 minutes of your call during office hours.

If you are calling about a routine matter or to schedule a well child visit, we ask that you call in the middle of the day, between 11:00 and 2:00, when the office is not as busy. Urgent calls are returned as soon as possible. Routine calls are returned in a timely manner.

YOUR CALL WILL USUALLY BE ANSWERED BY ONE OF OUR KNOWLEDGABLE NURSES. HOWEVER, YOUR DOCTOR WILL BE INFORMED AND/OR CONSULTED ABOUT YOUR PHONE CALL OR CONCERN.

Emergency calls are referred to the doctors at all times. In the event of an emergency, clearly explain the problem to the receptionist and your call will be given top priority. After hours, on weekends, or on holidays, state the nature of the emergency and leave your phone number with the answering service.

Please call back if you do not receive a return phone call within 45 minutes. If you need to speak with a doctor or a nurse and a message is left with the answering service or the receptionist and your call is not returned within a reasonable period of time, please check back with us. Occasionally, a phone number or message may be incorrectly dictated or copied.

Who answers after hours phone calls?

Should you have an urgent question arise outside of our regular business hours, YOU CAN EITHER CHECK OUR ONLINE RESOURCES FOR COMMON QUESTIONS OR simply call the office.

IF YOUR QUESTION IS NOT ANSWERED BY OUR ONLINE RESOURCES OR YOU HAVE AN URGENT CONCERN, you will leave a message with the answering service and the on-call physician will call you back to address your concern.

There is a fee of $25 for after-hours phone calls, and this charge will not be filed to your insurance.
